Previously, Adam was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine practicing primary care and involved in teaching in the medical school and in the internal medicine training program.
Adam is interested in prevention of chronic diseases through proactive health and wellness and building strong longitudinal relationships with members.
Forward's focus on the individual and implementing technology to help care for members and communities alike aligns with my desire to practice in an environment that is progressive, affords me time with members and places foundational emphasis on their personal experience.
Prior to joining Forward, Amanda practiced in a full scope primary care clinic where she treated all ages. Her focus included preventive medicine, chronic care management, weight loss management, and women's health.
Amanda has key interests in health prevention and total wellness along with chronic disease management. She enjoys partnering with members in helping them identify and achieving their personal wellness goals.
Amanda finds that her personal medical practice philosophy greatly aligns with Forward's innovative approach to primary care.
Poonam received her medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Christiana Care Health System. Prior to joining Forward, she was a practicing internist and core faculty member at Christiana Care Health System and Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States.
She is passionate about preventive medicine, climate change, and plant-based medicine.
I practice at Forward because it provides personalized primary care that empowers patients.
